Waffling on

Here I am, talking about my work, no doubt keeping the gathered colleagues enthralled. We bandy around terms like ‘information-sharing’ and ‘learning and exchange’ a lot in our sector, and this is a focus of the week. I’m benefiting from the presence of others who work on transboundary initiatives, notably a colleague who manages a forest initiative in the very challenging tri-border area between Gabon, Cameroon and Congo-Brazzaville and another who works on a five-country seascape programme in the South West Indian Ocean. I feel like I’ve got it relatively uncomplicated, politically speaking, only having to deal with Tanzania and Mozambique cooperation in my focal landscape.
