Occasional Blipper

Oh Dear!

I went for a cycle today and decided to try a new route through the local Andalusian countryside. Mid October and it’s still 30c and clear skies but the locals, especially the farmers, desperately need some rain. The first 10 miles were easy on a road I know well. Turning into the village of Cacin I headed up a steep 3k switchback climbing around 1000ft. I’m heading for the village of Castillo de Tajarja and I’ve to turn left. No way I thought, this can’t be right 4.5 miles of stone track! But it was and how my skinny little 23mm slick road tyres held up I don’t know, but I’m grateful they did! Anyway a hot and sticky 30 miles were completed and I’ve learned a lesson!
