Golden Autumn, Reflected in a Puddle

My morning walk took me across the street and up the hill. The foliage colors are starting to peak locally - they typically do around mid-October - and the colors here are so bright, you might just need your shades!

There was a puddle along the road, and I set up my shot to capture the golden foliage in it. So is that actually a real puddle, or a witch's scrying mirror? To capture what is, what was, or what will be . . . . Now you will be mine forever, lovely trees!

My soundtrack song for the colors in mid-October is this one from 1982, which was a very good year: 38 Special, with Caught Up in You.
