Autumn reflections at Sharon Woods

Saturday October 15
Since we got back from Wisconsin, Roger has been looking at various videos online, learning how to winterize our camper, ready for the very cold temperatures we can experience over winter, though admittedly nothing to what Laura will experience in Wisconsin! While he was doing that, I finished emptying it of things we don’t want to leave in over winter, and cleaned the sink, washbasin and toilet, and vacuumed the floor. The winterizing process seems pretty complex to me, but being an engineer, he feels confident he knows what he needs to do. However, the weather was too nice to spend all day doing that, so in the afternoon, we went walking at Sharon Woods. The pedal boats and rowing boats were still in the water, but they will be coming out after next weekend. We walked around the lake and through the gorge, but there was only a trickle of water flowing over the small waterfalls - after a wetter than usual summer, it has been very dry since. As yesterday, I took lots of photos, but I forced myself to just pick one rather than do a collage - but it certainly was a tough choice!
