Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Road Trip

Not too far today…. A FERRY ride to the Olympic peninsula , a stop for coffee and a bite to eat in port Gamble , looking very autumnish altho it felt like summer…it was a record 88 F in Seattle today! … then on to Port Townsend,  settled in the mid 1800s as a sea faring mill town, a walk on the beach at Fort Warden ( you can see the lighthouse, a biplane and the layer of unhealthy smokey air) then the museum of art and history in the 1892 city hall, our very old walk up Palace hotel, and the red bad air sunset but good dinner at Manresa Castle built by the first mayor of the town , with  a friend who lives here.
Nice and easy.  Unbelievable weather.
