Kitchen door sunset

Today is the day.  T and I exchanged my old car for another much newer one.  The "new" car has all sorts of bells and whistles, most of which I shall not use and don't understand but as long as it does what I want and doesn't break down, that's all that is needed,  and it is petrol and not diesel, and manual again.

I drove to the farm shop this afternoon and back by the lanes to the village shop so the car is getting used to being covered with mud.  We do live on a farm and in the country so that is what it is in the winter months.
