Backblip


More questions this morning....when will Esme be here?  When is the Halloween party starting?  What games will we be playing? What party food will we have?  Can I have the large pumpkin? and on and on....

After lunch it was time to head upstairs and get ready for the party :-))

We emerged resplendent in our costumes.  Anna was Maleficent, Faith a ballerina, I was the Old Witch and David put his mullet wig  to good use and appeared as golfer Cam Smith!  See extra Hahahahaha!

Esme arrived and first thing on the party agenda was pumpkin carving (the pool session was ditched as it would have cut into party time too much) Of course the girls lasted 10 minutes then went off to play while the adults finished the pumpkins!  We enjoyed it though!  

We moved on to play Spider Hoopla and Put a Wart on the Witch.  Great fun.  

Break from the fun to have food, then re-energised we played Eat the Doughnut from a string, musical statues, dooking for apples followed by the girls making their own games that seemed to consist of running around whilst screaming at the highest pitch! I am sure any sleeping dogs within a 5 mile radius were rudely awakened!  

And then it was time to settle down and watch Hocus Pocus 2.  Peace at last :-))

What a knackering but completely magical day.  Esme, Anna and Faith were so happy at being reunited.  It's so lovely to see them together.  Esme snuggled into Anna while they watched the film.  I think she would like a sister :-))

When S was putting the girls to bed they both announced the today was the best day ever!  That makes me very happy :-))
