A windy, and occasionally wet, day when I was glad that I didn't have to go out for anything important. Nevertheless, I ventured out for a short while to post a card and, given that the rain showers seemed to have eased, went for a walk around Bonnyfield Local Nature Reserve.
Some of the ground on either side of the main path was saturated and at one point even that was under water. Nothing else for it, but to hitch up one's trews and plunge through. A change of shoes and socks once I got home!
Today's Blip, though, does not show the path through the nature reserve but one of the many tributaries of the Bonny Water that appear in a number of places locally.
