Westerwood

Back Blip

On a scale of 1 - 10 of wet walks, today's definitely rated an eight or a nine. It was raining when we left Cumbernauld Village and, apart from a few minutes respite, it was raining when we returned about two hours later.

Our route took us up into and around Westerwood Golf Course and we were glad to be on the gravel and tarmac paths around the course - some of the fairways looked pretty sodden and some of the greens were partly under water. Didn't see any golfers out on the course, just mad Ramblers (see extra). No such thing as bad weather, just being improperly dressed for the conditions? Aye right!

On the positive side, the waterfall looked impressive (main photo).
