Highway to Hell

A nice lie in and feeling better.

Had to cut short my weekend and head to Borehamwood, for a work meeting tomorrow.

I left my house at 5pm, it should have taken 3.5 hours, but with a closure on the M4 and emergency surfacing works on the M25, I eventually got to my hotel after 11pm.  Ugh!

At least one good thing was that the hotel had a warm cookie for me when I checked in, and even though it had chocolate, and I'm not supposed to have it, I devoured it.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A warm cookie
