Zinnia

We had to be in for the yearly alarm service today at 11am, so spent some time in the garden pulling up more annuals, weeding and tidying. I planted out some home-grown wallflowers, cerinthe, cornflowers and potted on more seedlings.  We still have a few zinnias that are flowering, but I don't think there will be too many more, even if we have a few more buds. 
In the afternoon, I went to the Butterfly House for a work session - there were 5 of us and we were quite productive in the community garden, weeding, chopping down stuff, sweeping up leaves and having a good old tidy in the sunshine. Perfect gardening weather.
