The very posh highway cafe

The visitors to the House of Bruar would be aghast to hear it described as a highway cafe, for it is oh so much more than that!

The food and service is grand, luxurious and impeccable. The toilets anticipate only the very best of manners while waiting in the queue, the clothing, food and Scottish 'stuff' is all of the highest quality with prices to match. So if you want to drive for a few hours and then pick up a cashmere sweater in nearly the middle of nowhere, or the finest smoked salmon - this is where to go.

On the other hand, the coffee is OK. Just ok.
