Agatha Christie Mile

The Agatha Christie Mile runs from the Grand Hotel to the Imperial Hotel, and there are 12 locations relating to Agatha. The Grand Hotel is where she honeymooned with her first husband, and the Imperial features as a location in her work.
This one is on Torquay Museum where there is a permanent Agatha Christie exhibition. Today, the talk at the Museum Society was entitled Agatha Christie’s Archaeological Adventures, and was by Emma Seaman. It was a fascinating resume of her travels with her second husband, Max Mallowan, an archaeologist, as well as a look at some of her lesser known books.
The afternoon was spent talking to the bank successfully sorting out some fraudulent payments. Needed a drink after that.
