Top Triangle

This is the triangle at the top of our Land, seen from the castle ramparts. The line of olive trees sweeping down to the centre is our border with Rodrigo, and it's his sheep with Andorinha, the dog, crossing our Land to a gap in one of our stone walls. The ten fruit trees Paul and Mike planted, protected by green netting, are above that wall. Notice how dry the ground is, the sheep are mainly eating the wild shoots growing out of our olive trees.

You can just see our top building, which our architect might one day come up with a plan for, through the olive and oak trees on the right.

The São Sebastião chapel is on another ridge higher than ours, then you get the road, the Lake, and Monsaraz on the highest hill in the background.

Gratefuls:
- this wonderful view
- cooler nights
- dinner with Padre Abraão, the new priest
