Male Stonechat

Backblip

We went to Steart Marshes Nature Reserve on a lovley sunny day.  It's mostly reedbeds with a number of hides and we saw a pair of stonechats and a kestrel as well as the usual water birds and waders.  We saw a flock of starlings flying and then a group of lapwing went up - a peregrine then came into view.  Unfortunately it was too fast for me!

Later we went for a walk in some lovely oak woodlands before returning to our accomodation.
