This week I am putting our garden to bed.

I gave the lawn it’s last cut of the year, a bit late this year and I’ve left the length long. The passionflowers continue to look glorious; but their tendril-bearing vines had choked a delicate pink rose, the nearby Dublin Rose and invaded the greenhouse, so I enjoyed giving it a much needed cut back.

Ive stored away the wheelbarrow and other rain water collection containers which were essential over the hot, dry Summer.

An overcast, dry cool day.
