The Still Room

Clare and I took Clare's father and aunt to Kentwell Hall in Suffolk today where they were doing one of their Tudor recreations. Around 130 volunteers were dressed in Tudor costumes and taking part in Tudor-style activities.

These intense Tudor ladies are concentrating on distilling essence of angelica.
