Knole

After a lazy morning, Clare and I drove out to Knole House near Sevenoaks this afternoon. We've both had colds and gippy tummies over the weekend and a gentle stroll through the deer park in the sunshine did us good.

I am guessing that this is an early twentieth century gate post lamp, stylistically in keeping with the 16th century house in the background.
