Art in Oxford

I (Chris) went over to join Annie and friends this morning, very much the morning after the night before for some of them!

We headed into Oxford for some lunch in the Jericho area before going on a wander to check out some of the offerings from 'Art Week'. Lots of open houses, galleries and public buildings (including a church and a cinema) where local artists were able to show off their handiwork. It is always fascinating to see just how much weird and wonderful art is being created (and fun to have a look in the open houses!).

As we wandered the streets, would you believe it, we spotted another fairly ridiculous double yellow line so that had to go in the portfolio. On a more artistic note, I spotted what I personally think is a piece of art, the fabulous Citroen DS and consequently today's blip.

We finished up with a chinese takeaway this evening, a lovely day.
