Ficus Carica

That's 'fig' to you.  We found an excellent fruit and veg stall yesterday with some lovely looking produce.  I had to stop myself from buying too much but got these figs, some huge field mushrooms, a couple of nice fresh aubergines and some heritage tomatoes in green, yellow and orange.  I'll have fun knocking up a few meals with these.  First up, an old favourite; figs stuffed with blue cheese, wrapped in parma ham and baked in the oven with a Balsamic drizzle.  Lovely with a bit of crusty bread on the side.
