Dartmoor Woodland

I was out this morning with the landscape group.  We met up at Newbridge on Dartmoor always a popular place on Saturdays with canoeists.  The weather forecast was for rain to head in early afternoon but it headed our way much earlier.  Several of us wandered through the woodland adjacent to the River Dart where todays blip was taken.  Next we set off for Combestone Tor at which point the rain started.  We crabbed our cameras and managed to get a few shots in-between bouts of rain, see extra.  A couple of other members joined us and it was decided to head to a nearby pub and visit Swincombe afterwards.  Unfortunately the pub wasn't able to serve us food for sometime so after a drink some decided to head elsewhere and others of us headed home.

A good morning out though.
