Turning leaves

Dad's cornus, not mine and the leaves behind these ones are turning. I'd gone out into the garden to try and capture the glow of the sun setting on the birch leaves but the moment had gone by the time I got my camera and went outside. The cornus was the blip provider instead.

It has been drier here today than the weather that I came through. Very murky as well as wet up to about Preston, Bailey and I had set off in the dry but the rain set in as we got onto the M180. We were here before half ten with the weather being the only issue. Bailey has reacquainted himself with the neighbourhood on two walks and it is definitely good to have a bit of a change of scenery.
