Leningrad (Saint Petersburg)

Blipper Munroist4113 has been very generous with her contributions of photographs of locations that feature in Lorna Lloyd's Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal), This latest shot from her represents Leningrad (now St Petersburg) during commemorations of World War II. Lorna mentioned the city once by name in her diary entry of 30th November 1939, here with reference to a Russian attack on Finland*.
