Warming up

It's been so cold this past few days that the skinks are getting every bit of extra warmth they can.  Very clever to sun-bake on a trowel, I thought.  A bit of radiant heat never goes astray for a cold blooded skink.

We have a lot of rain coming towards the end of the week.  I sincerely hope all our friends in the Riverland (Murray River) stay safe and dry.  Renmark got half a year's worth of rain in just two hours yesterday.  Not a good time for them.  There used to be a few Blippers from up that way, but we haven't heard from them for quite a while.
