A design from the past

Hen pheasants from a neighbouring farm enjoying their dry perch of dead wood in the rough patch behind the farmhouse.  There were six or seven of them while the cock pheasant stalked around the bottom in the wet grass guarding his harem.

A day of chores, doing jobs I have been putting off for weeks and the feeling of satisfaction is great!
