Too pretty to eat

Not that I've ever eaten snails nor am I in a hurry to do so, but this chap looks a bit too old for the table and rather too beautiful as well. Amazing colours.

Although it was warm outside, it was not the scorcher I was led to believe it was going to be. Probably just as well because toiling in the garden when the sun is fierce is not ideal, especially with my hairstyle :-)

Garden is looking respectable again. Treated the grass with weed and feed, so no doubt it will look a bit scorched by this time tomorrow. No pain, no gain.

BBQ tonight. Lucky I finished off the beef in guiness at lunch time.
