Plenty of distractions

even when sweeping up leaves, mainly Japanese  maples today, they look beautiful scattered around beneath the pots but would soon be messy if left. I think this is a Pyrus/pear leaf, love the colours & veining.
Hubby, Mum & I had our Covid booster jabs at Dawlish Community hospital this morning. Very well organised & efficient thankfully as the hospital  carpark fee was £1 for 30mins.
Home again by lunchtime., so lunch, then a garden tidy up in the mizzle. Potted up some hyacinth bulbs in a lovely old dish that Mum has had for years. I'm sure she used to plant it up with hyacinths but she does'nt remember.
Just made a mussaman sauce to coat the salmon fillets, cauli slices, & first of my Turk's Turban squash. That will be sliced and added to the traybake..
