Sun + Rain = ?

I had a good day at home with a bit more log splitting. The day was warm and sunny though a few drops of rain arrived and gave us this rainbow.
This evening we went to the local community college to listen to some folk music, played by the folk music students at the school, who are now 8 weeks into their one-year course. It's always a small course, around 10 students, and we could see that some of them were very used to performing while others were more nervous. However, they worked really well together and were doing a lot of communication and support as they played.
We were very impressed and on the way home talked about how valuable getting the chance to study something like this is. Most of the students will not end up as professional performers or music teachers but they will have had a year rich in experiences, learned a lot about themselves and music, and maybe carry on playing for the rest of their lives.
