Day Trip To YorK

We did get some sleep last night…eventually. It took a while for the girls to settle down.

Anyway - we took them out to The Castle Museum in York today. We used the Park & Ride and it was a novelty for them to go upstairs on the bus!

The museum was great fun…loads of toys to play with and we did a Hallowe’en hunt for little ghost figures that had been placed in lots of the window displays…. We got to 180!

There was also an exhibition / interactive feature for “The Tiger Who Came To Tea” book. They really enjoyed that too.

I managed this snap of Clifford’s Tower on the way out - completely different to the morning when it was pouring with rain.
