Kali

This is not Durga,
Hindu goddess of fierce menacing forms to her enemies.
But,
this could be Kali, Hindu goddess of time, doomsday, and death
Just not quite yet…
Dancing her final Fall,
Her Oktoberfest.
Skin of brown and black
Golden-haired and glowing
She wears a gilded crown,
Head tilted toward the heavens
Her limbs raised in supplication
Sleeves of flaxen leaves.
Resplendent in her glorious dress,
One day more and then she rests.
Oktoberfest, 
A feast for the eyes.
