Working Hard

The bees are having to work hard now to find pollen this late in the UK Autumn. This one was burying itself into the heart of this very late flowering rose.

From an unseasonably warm and sunny visit to Mottisfont Abbey. I was amazed at the number of roses still flowering in the famous walled rose garden ... and the number of visitors! Remind me next time about school half terms and nice days - it was a good day out though!!
