Solitary Leaf

I spent the morning roaming the local superstores while my car key was being "recoded" (when did cars and keys get so complicated?) ... not my most favourite occupation. So in the afternoon I took myself off to Chobham Cobham for a refreshing walk.

The common is still quite green and apart from the dying ferns not looking too autumnal, but I managed to find this patch of lichen with a tiny trapped coppery leaf which I thought would suit Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge of nature.
