Sunset Special

I set out to walk Meg after work aware that from tomorrow I'll have to get out earlier.  After a mostly dull and wet day the sun found a window under the clouds as it dipped in the west.  The result was that British Summer Time ended with a wonderful light show.   (A slightly earlier pic in extras as the sun hit the sea.)

Another work day, busy enough but now that the Welsh schools have started their half term, we had an extra pair of hands at Aber Cafe.  The railway will continue to run during the local half term but this weekend saw the return of the end of season bonfire and barbecue plus fireworks in a field adjacent to the line at Rhydyronen.  We went along for an hour or so and I got to say goodbye to Jane and John for this year as they close up the caravan for this year tomorrow.   Another signpost of winter's approach.
