Old Jewish Cemetery

This photo doesn't give proper credit to the tininess of the space dedicated to the cemetery. The whole thing is smaller than 40 meters squared with over 12,000 tombstones and is estimated to have over 100,000 graves. We went on a gray, rainy day and had passes to the cemetery, the Jewish Museum, and 5 synagogues. A perfect way to spend a rainy day!

I'm back-blipping over a week later, so please excuse my lack of details about the day. We had sketchy internet connection in our hotel, which made uploading photos next-to impossible.
