Twirling witch

Junior parkrun this morning, where I did a spot of marshalling. Many of the volunteers and participants had got into the Halloween mood, so there were some interesting outfits. This very colourful little witch had to hold on to her hat as she did a twirl for me. I noticed her mum was left to carry the hat as they ran round; the wee witch wasn’t going to have unnecessary encumbrances slowing her run! Mum couldn’t actually wear the hat herself due to the machete which seemed to have been embedded in her skull!

At my marshalling post I was joined by a wee companion for a while who seemed very interested in me for some reason. Maybe he was envious of my witch hat. ( extra).
