Pumpkins Etc

Halloween house decorations seem to be going the same way as Christmas house decorations, with a lot of competition to come up with the best display. These were on a house in Wapping High Street that we spotted on our way back to daughter#1's house this morning.

A quieter day today, though we managed a Sunday lunch and a WhatsApp video call with daughter#2 before leaving for home. We also popped into Waitrose to buy a couple of bottles of wine and some chocolates to leave in the apartment as a thank you for D&F.

I decided to drive back the same way across London rather than do the M11/M25 route that is usually quicker, but longer. It was busy and a bit slow in places, but Google maps assured me I was going to save 20% petrol by going that way.
