Den Haag

A lovely square in The Hague where I met up with colleagues for dinner this evening, as well as a bit of a briefing for tomorrow's event.

We ate indoors but there were lots of people outside too.  It is baffling to me just how many outdoor heaters (both gas and electric) were on given escalating energy prices, predicted energy scarcity across Europe, the doubtless enormous carbon footprint and the impact on global warming.  You are literally trying trying to heat up the outside here folks!
