Lunch with a Blipper.

We had a lovely time with our friends Hélène, another Blipper who encouraged me to join, and Geoff. Stephen had made three different kinds of soup and two kinds of bread.
A white large Cobb, and Pain de Campagne, which contained oregano.
All very tasty!
We followed this up with a very lovely Tarte Tatin, made by Hélène.
An afternoon which included a burst of sunshine, in between very heavy rain showers.
It is now 15:30 and it is very gloomy and wet as the school children and their parents are on their way home. Lots of coloured umbrellas to lighten the general darkening skies.
The bright yellowy autumn leaves of the silver birches in the school grounds stand out against the somber cloud cover.
Time to hunker down with my snuggle blanket once more!
