to taking a photo

especially when you want - to capture a bird - in flight, even if you - don’t know it - which was the - case with this duck - i hadn’t planned it - didn’t even think it would be - remotely possible but then - that’s always when abba - surprises me; showers me - with the kindest gift of all

i’d had an appointment - and the friend who - was driving me agreed - to quickly pull into - one of my favorite - little haunts i used - to visit to capture - pics of geese - and ducks both in - flight and in profile - just as we were pulling - up, a whole flock - of birds were coming - into the area to land - i scurried out of the car - thinking i might - get a few stragglers - when this gorgeous duck - just began a descent - almost right smack in my - sight line; i was dumbfounded - timing is everything - or so ‘they’ say - whoever ‘they’ are - and in this case - it also made it…
