Chelsea Market

I was meeting my cousin and his family in New York, they are visiting from France for a few days, so I did some of the tourist tour with them.

Then I took them to the Chelsea Market for a less touristy experience. This old biscuit factory has been renovated, but preserving the original architecture, so you can still see the old brick walls, and the old clock.

Above Chelsea Market, there's a fairly recent a new urban landscape called the High Line. It was built on a retired elevated railroad track that has been converted to an urban oasis or greenway with flowers and plants everywhere.
