May Day

We had a morning off this morning. I was grateful!! As lovely as it's been having grandparents visiting, it's been exhausting - the boys haven't been going to bed especially well and I'm struggling sleeping for some reason too.

This afternoon though was our regular Wednesday home ed group, and today we were making Maypoles. Individual mini ones, and a big one with the intention of dancing round it, weaving the ribbons around it. It worked, after a fashion! It definitely worked if the aim was to have fun. Trying to corrale 4-9 year olds to do a very coordinated in and out dance was ambitious though!
