Grunge Seagulls

A day of mist and drizzle - so quite a contrast to yesterday's sun.
We were in town today and I was picking up gravel from the council in preparation for those icy periods I'm sure will come. The gravel is placed just outside the harbour fence. As I was filling my buckets these seagulls, together with magpies and crows in the trees were watching and waiting. Once I'd loaded up and sat back in the car they all swooped down to eat something dead in the road. Every time someone drove by they returned to their perches.
Our dinner was eaten at Rose's this evening and then on to film studio. Dinner was enlivened by four visitors staying with Rose for two nights. Her grand-daughter and three school friends had taken the train down from Umeå to spend a couple of days rummaging through the charity shops of Härnösand. To get a cheap ticket they'd taken a train leaving Umeå at 4 in the morning!! The joys of youth!
The film "The Peanut Butter Falcon" was well worth seeing!
