Golden Hour Googly Eyed Jack

It rained very heavily over night and when we went for our morning walk the brook, usually not much more than a ditch, was a raging torrent. The rushing water made a tremendous noise. I slithered down a steep bank for a closer look and had to crawl back up.

I got the above shot of Jack heron in the golden hour. Even though I've chopped off a bit of his wing I've posted the image as I like his googly eye.
