Final Showdown

Tempted by the prospect of a sunstar, I waited until the sun almost dropped behind the trees. I loved the wispy clouds. We are fortunate this year having such warm conditions and a lack of wind. I'm not looking for it to change any time soon.

Very tricky to even out the exposure across the sky and between the sky and land/water. The falloff towards the corners was considerable. Also deciding how blue and how light the sky should be whilst trying to keep the glow. The trees and reeds are obviously very dark shooting into the light, but I wanted some detail in there.

Extra: Barely Blue. With the mercurial Bleach Bypass Fujifilm profile.
