Passing Snow Shower

A raw wind gained strength quickly, bringing with it another snow shower. They had come and gone since early morning obscuring the distant view in every direction. I set off in sunshine thinking a pause in proceedings had been reached, but no, here came another bout.

I tried in vain to capture the falling snow, but I think in this case I was focused too far away. The soft detail in the image is however testament to its impact.
