Kestrel for Molly

Four kestrels were circling, perching, soaring, making their high-pitched 'kik-kik-kik-kik' sounds, diving through the air above the trees at the riverside below the window of our little house, probably engaging in some kind of mating ritual. I took 120 photos of them (while Lo Jardinièr was working!) but there was only one I thought was any good at all - it's in my blipfolio. I didn't think Molly would like the pylon in that shot, so I made this collage for her for the second anniversary of her last blip....she's still much missed for her beautiful images, her interest in everyone else's images, her writing and her raging at the injustices of life.
