OUCH!

That’s one pigeon in need of some pane relief!

First thing this morning MrC found this eerie image on the window of the office/ small bedroom.
Looks like a phantom bird caught in mid - flight.
I have darkened the photo slightly to accentuate the image on the window.
Apparently the imprint was left by the birds
‘powder down’ - a waterproof substance protecting its feathers - as it smacked into the glass.
Head, body and beak are clearly visible.
Would you believe the window cleaner came yesterday! Isn’t that just typical is!

Have just spent a very enjoyable day with A. who came for lunch.
Lots of catching up to do as we haven’t seen one another for a couple of months.
We all enjoyed the fish curry and just had enough room for a small portion of blackberry and apple pie.
The sun was still shining when she left at about 4pm. It has certainly been another glorious day.
