Hell Lane

We should have been away in the New Forest this weekend but a last minute appointment for Flu jabs changed that.

With the day already booked off for Landscapegirl (my dear lady wife) we decided to make the most of todays quiet weather and get out early.

We started at Little Bredy where there is a lovely little waterfall. I'll add that as an extra. I know Landscapegirl already Blipped her shot of there today.

As soon as the sun had moved far enough around to get the shot we had come for we moved on to the Symondsbury Estate where we had a very pleasant breakfast before heading off in search of our second photo location.

Hell Lane

Hell Lane is an old smugglers trail (I think) and passes under the foot of the famous (in these parts) Symondsbury Hill.

The lane is a fantastic place to explore due to the numerous carvings in the soft stone that line the lane.

Todays Blip is probably a poor example of the carvings but it was the first one I edited.

Now back home tired. Enough for today. Might add some other as extras another time.
