The River Teign at Fingle Bridge

I met up with my pal John for lunch at Fingle Bridge. It's been a lovely day which was good as we often seem to get poor weather. With luck it's a good omen for our trip to the outer Hebrides in three weeks. 

After an enjoyable lunch we decided we'd better get out for a walk before it got dark. There's quite a lot of water coming down the river now and the autumn colours are looking quite good in some places. It's fairly sheltered in the valley so plenty are still on the trees.
