A time for everything

Hello there!

Thursday
We are enjoying some beautiful weather at present, so we wanted to get out and enjoy it. We probably won’t have many more days for cycling before the colder weather comes, so the bike trail was calling our names! However, today we had a change and did a more southerly section, starting at Kugler Mill Park, north of Milford, and cycling as far as Clear Creek Park, almost 16 miles return. We don’t do this section very often, but we really enjoyed it today in the warm sunshine. I guess one reason we don’t do it more often is that much of it is rather more open, so in the summer we would avoid it because it would be too hot. On the way back home we made a detour to Turner Farms in Indian Hill, where we can get fresh eggs, vegetables in season, and lamb, which isn’t so readily available in our supermarkets. We hadn’t seen the sheep before, but today they were in a field near the farm shop, and they all came over to say hello, so I thought they could feature in the Blip spotlight today! I’ve put a collage of our bike ride in extras. When we got back home, we took our drink out onto the patio, and then I stayed out a bit longer doing some knitting. In the evening we enjoyed a good choir practice.
